Here's an awesome live perforance of Kelly Rowland's new single Commander. It's climbing the charts over seas, and for some reason not in the US. I'm loving what I'm hearing though! Her newest song was just release on iTunes earlier today. It's called Rose Colored Glasses

Finally!

So after having my computer stolen, I've finally gotten my replacement! I just discovered this video of Reba McEntire covering Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy" and it's awesome! She's amazing!

Beyonce Nostalgia

I remember watching this performance on TV. This was in 2005. This was after Beyonce's first solo album and after Destiny's Child's last album. Having been a fan of Destiny's Child all through high school, I was excited to see Beyonce perform a Tina song. I knew how much I loved watching her perform, but I was used to loving artists that others didn't. I specifically remember this performance because I remember thinking, this isn't like my other music fads. This was the moment I realized that Beyonce was bigger than big. She instantly commanded this room of people from all walks of life. Even though she was "impersonating" Tina Turner, this was no ordinary cover. She took on a persona on that stage that enabled her to demand the attention of every person in ear range. She creates a world that everyone wants to be a part of and when I was watching this performance in my parents' living room, I remember thinking, she is going to be around for a long time and I will be telling my children about her. Thus far, she has yet to disappoint!

Kelly is MY Commander

Finally I get my first glimpse at Kelly's new song, "Commander". This is a HOT video! I'm so glad she paired up with David Guetta because they have made some amazing music!

Christina Strips Again

Looks like it's gonna be another Dirrty Xtina era. I have to say that I'm loving this video. It's very reminiscent of Madonna's Express Yourself and Erotica. My feeling is, when you have a voice like Christina, you can sing/do anything you want!

And the winner is....

I love Carrie Underwood! She's such a beautiful person inside and out. That is said of many people, but it's not always true. I love how she can be a witness without being tacky or cliche. She's amazing...bottom line.

Toni does Jordin

Two ladies with men's names and amazing voices. I've loved Toni Braxton ever since Un-break My Heart and I've loved Jordin Sparks since I(Who Have Nothing). "Save Me" was one of my favorite songs on Jordin's debut album, but I always thought it didn't quite sound like her. Here's Toni Braxton singing it and I have to say that I LOVE it! She sounds AWESOME...maybe better than the original! Jordin tweeted that she loves hearing Toni sing her song.
